Christmas feels

It's Christmas and you know what that means...presents! Okay so every year my mother's side of the family always have a little get together for Christmas Eve. We have Noche Buena together, gift givings and a grand family picture taken of all of us. It's just one of those traditions that you wouldn't miss for the world because you get to catch up on what's going on with your relatives. You can just relax, bond with others and have fun.

Rainy days

Whoever said "rainy days are fun days"are lying cause there's nothing fun about the rain (well for today at least). One of the reasons why rainy days are not fun is because I didn't get to have a morning run today which I was desperately in need of to have that "prom body" (have I ever told you I was third year? Well now you know)

Sweater weather

Winter solstice had gone by so that means it's sweater weather! It's the season where even though it's rarely cold in the Philippines, no one will judge you for wearing sweaters! 

Skeletons, skeletons

Okay so last Tuesday I wanted to be festive and celebrate Halloween a little early and yes, if you saw someone in all black wearing skeleton tights, that was me and to all the people that had seen me and had judged me on wearing that well....i can't please everyone. I just wear whatever I like and I'm proud of it. 

Vintage Polo

You want to know something about me? Well if you don't want to know I'll tell you anyway. I'm a cheap person. Cheap in the sense that I don't like to buy anything using my own money so I usually leave the expensive stuff for my my parents to buy. Okay that may sound a bit spoiled but if you have a mother like mine you'll see and understand that shopping is a mom and daughter bonding with us.

Bright white light

White top, white pants, white sandals. White. White. White. Can't you tell how much I love the color white? I've always wanted to make an all white ensemble and here it is! (But still with a dash of black of course)

Vibrant

So when I was checking Lookbook, I stumbled upon Luanna’s (www.le-happy.com) post and I was intrigued by how well her outfits compliment her personality (even if I don’t really know her) so I went to her blog and I just fell inlove with her style. It was hands down amazing. She was actually one of the first bloggers that I have followed on Lookbook but I didn’t have the time to browse her blog until this week.

A Fondness for the 60s

Black and white is a very popular combination this 2014 and I have really grown quite a fondness with it so you may see those colors or hues a lot in my upcoming blog posts. Even if some may think that it's a bland, well they're wrong because those colors are very powerful. It's a color that can give you the boost you need and let you be confident and good about yourself.

White Daisies

Last Friday, we had to wear business attire for our defense in Entrepreneurship so I styled a black and white ensemble that consists of a white short sleeved button down shirts and just pairing it with a black mary jane shoes. 

Fitting in

I always loved the combination of black and pink. There is just something about it that is so sophisticated with just the right amount of playfulness in an outfit. Even when I was a kid, I loved putting on these color combinations on my barbie dolls. Even my little old self had already known how powerful these colors are when put together. I can't really explain why they're a good match because sometimes there are things that just fit.

The Original

I don't know why but I'm pretty obsessed with the color white (I meant hue). I find it's shade very bold yet sophisticated. Even if it looks plain outside, it is extraordinary. It shows calmness and purity. It's...magnificent really.

Topshoppin'

Topshop. My favorite store for clothes (which i can only afford if items are on sale or there's an occasion) I love almost everything in there. If i can only afford it *sigh* but then again on occasion I can afford it and for my post post (super late which this was actually a late post) birthday lunch with my family in my dad's side in Kpub (Bonifacio High Street) guess what I wore? everything Topshop!

Sunflowers and Sunlight (The Beach Part II)

Let me tell you something. At first the only reason why I wanted to go to a beach is so that I can take good photo shoots but when I first step foot on sand, I felt like I was 10 years old again that loves to play with sand and loves to collect seashells. I loved every minute.

Be in with the crowd (The Beach Part 1)

Hawaiian shirts are very popular these days for going to the beach or even just a casual outing. I love how Hawaiian shirts can make you feel so lively with its bold colors and big leaves. It will be a great combination with shorts or a skirt. I paired mine with my Ipanema sandals and a white dropwaist skirt that contrasts with the shirt to even it out. Even if you don't wear it to the beach, it feels like you're there!

It's the end of my freedom

Okay so I have a lot of things that I should have posted before this but because I can't wait for all of you to see my new favorite sandals,  I posted this first!

A day spent well

My birthday didn't go the way I wanted it to be. I was actually planning to have lunch with my family and then just relax for the rest of the day like maybe go to the spa or just watch movies at home with all the junk foods that I can eat and maybe, just maybe my dad will buy me Dr. Martens. But then I didn't get to relax. At all.

FAMILY

Yesterday my family decided to have our family portrait taken. We're the type of family who likes to color code so all of us wore yellow in my mom's favor because it was mother's day. There was kind of a small problem that happened..my brother wouldn't stop crying! But still it's a waste if we didn't take the pictures already so we took pictures anyway. 

WANNA BE ROCKSTAR

This photo shoot is kinda a spur in the moment kind of thing because I was just sitting there at home bored out of my mind so I just plan ahead for my shoots.

LOOKS SO PERFECT

Writing. I never knew that writing can be a good stress reliever. I'm used to just keeping it all bottled up in my head until one day I explode. Let me tell you it's not a good habit so when I started to make a blog it made me feel free. It feels like a weight has been lifted on my shoulders because everything that I experience I can put it all here.

HOLY FOR A DAY

My family aren't really that religious but when it comes to events like Lent, we really participate. It was Holy Week last week and we went to Laguna to have our annual 'Visita Iglesia' with the family where we basically go to churches and pray the station of the cross. In total, we went to 4 churches in Quezon and Laguna.

AWKWARDLY AWKWARD

Okay so I know my my title is not grammatically correct but it just seems right for this post? *cue embarrassed laugh here* Well anyway in this post you can see how accessories can change a plain white shirt into something more. I paired up a plain white tee with my Zara red and black striped shorts with my school girl looking shoes and accessorized the shirt with my black and red necklace. It's simple yet chic!

PERFECT COMBINATION

I used my cousin's graduation to my advantage so that I could take great shots in UST. It has such a great campus full of history and greenery, (look it rhymes) and I had a fun time touring it with my cousins!

I'VE MISSED YOU

After all the stress in school, finally! It's summer! Looking forward to the days were I can just lie down in my bed and just rest without worrying about school. Hoping that this summer will be spent well!

BREAK

It was my dad's birthday and we stayed at the F1 hotel to celebrate. The day was spent having fun and relaxing with the family. I wore an esprit floral top on floral denim with my black and white river island shoes. It was fun to have a break from all the stress in school!

I was so stressed one day because of school and I just want to express how I feel because if I didn't I don't know what'll happen to me. I wanted to do something that was kinda cute and creepy at the same time.
